With a 140mm diameter card, the CHE compass is one of the largest binnacle mount compasses available on the market. This model is only available with a flat card with a choice of black or white body. The CHE has two mounting options - the 0073 and 0074 have an external flange with fixing holes, whilst the 0075 and 0076 have smooth bodies with the fixings located within the base of the compass.
This compass is suitable for both large pleasure craft and medium sized workboats. Illumination and compensation are supplied as standard. The CHE-0077 is available with soft iron quadrantal correctors making this model suitable for vessels with steel hulls.
The CHE range is Marine Equipment Directive (MED) 96/98 EC approved making this compass suitable for installation as a lifeboat compass in accordance with SOLAS regulations.
